Notice of Public Comment Period and Public Hearing
Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission

Amendment #4 to the FY 2019-2022 Transportation Improvement Program and
Metropolitan Transportation Plan

The Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission (SNHPC), as the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization for the southern New Hampshire region, announces a public comment period on Amendment #4 to the FY 2019-2022 SNHPC Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and SNHPC Metropolitan Transportation Plan (Plan).

A 10-day public comment period for Amendment #4 to the TIP and Plan begins on May 11, 2020 and runs through May 21, 2020. During this period, Amendment #4 to the TIP and Plan will be available for public review on the SNHPC website (www.snhpc.org) and physical copies can be provided upon request to Carl Eppich, AICP, Principal Transportation Planner at ceppich@snhpc.org.

Following the 10-day public comment period, and pursuant to the SNHPC Public Involvement Process, an electronic public hearing to review comments, solicit final public feedback, and consider adoption of Amendment #4 to the TIP and Plan has been scheduled for May 26, 2020 at 11:30 AM.


The Chair of the SNHPC has found that, due to the State of Emergency declared by the Governor as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance Emergency Order #12 pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04, the SNHPC is authorized to meet electronically.

Please note that there is no physical location to observe and listen contemporaneously to this meeting, which was authorized pursuant to the Governor’s Emergency Order.

The SNHPC is utilizing Zoom for this electronic meeting. All members of the SNHPC have the ability to communicate contemporaneously during this meeting through this platform, and the public has access to contemporaneously listen and, if necessary, participate in this meeting as follows:
