In 2016, through a partnership with the City of Manchester, funded through the NH Charitable Foundation, SNHPC developed a Health Impact Assessment (HIA) for the Gossler Park Neighborhood.

The HIA involves an assessment of existing conditions and the overall assets, strengths, and limitations associated with the infrastructure of Manchester's Gossler Park Neighborhood and school campuses. The specific focus areas include public health, transportation, recreation, walkability, bicycling, and livability conditions. A Community Profile of the socioeconomic characteristics of the neighborhood is also included in the HIA. Neighborhood surveys were conducted, including a neighborhood design charrette which involved residents, school officials and city staff in identifying issues and developing recommendations.
